Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Zen Analyze collects, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We wrote this to be straightforward — no legal fog.

Zen Analyze is operated by TONGUE LINK TECHNOLOGY INC. When we say "we" or "us," that's who we mean.

1. What We Collect

1.1 Your Account

When you sign up, we ask for an email address and a password. The password is hashed — we can't read it even if we wanted to. You can optionally add a display name or a profile picture.

1.2 Profile Details

To tailor results, you may share your age range, gender, and city. We also keep your answers to the lifestyle questionnaires — things like how you've been sleeping, your energy level, digestion comfort, that sort of thing.

1.3 Camera

The app asks for camera access so you can take a photo for the analysis feature. Here's the important part: we don't keep your photos. The image is sent for AI analysis, temporarily held under a random UUID filename that has zero connection to you, and then automatically deleted on a regular cleanup cycle. No permanent copy. No archive. No facial recognition. Nothing lingers.

1.4 Approximate Location

We estimate your rough location from your IP address — just the city level. No GPS. No tracking. We use it to factor in local weather when generating recommendations.

1.5 Purchases

If you buy credits or subscribe, we record the transaction type, status, and credit balance. The actual payment goes through Apple's system and RevenueCat. We never see or store your credit card number.

1.6 How You Use the App

We keep basic usage stats — how often you run a check, which features you use, session info. This helps us improve things and spot abuse.

1.7 Device & Security Signals

For fraud prevention, we may log a device identifier and IP address at the time of account registration. That's it.

2. Why We Use It

Short version: to run the app and make it better. Specifically:

We don't use your data for advertising. We don't build ad profiles.

3. Where Your Data Lives

Account data and analysis results sit in a Supabase database with row-level security — meaning each user can only access their own records. Everything travels over TLS encryption.

Photos never stick around. During the brief processing window, images exist in a temporary directory under anonymous filenames and get wiped automatically. There is no permanent image storage.

We don't sell it. We don't rent it. We don't trade it.

6. How Long We Keep It

As long as your account is active, we keep your data so you can track your trends over time. Photos are a different story — they're gone after processing, period.

If you delete your account, we remove your personal data and analysis history. Some anonymized, aggregated data (like total user counts) may remain because it can't be traced back to anyone.

Zen Analyze isn't designed for anyone under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If we find out we have, we'll delete it right away.

9. Updates to This Policy

We might update this page from time to time. If something meaningful changes, we'll let you know inside the app. The date at the top always reflects the latest version.
